New construction and renovation: industrial, commercial, logistics, services, agricultural, wine making and equestrian buildings, etc.
Roof mounted photovoltaic power plants
With more than 200 photovoltaic power plants mounted on rooftops, GÉNÉRALE DU SOLAIRE is a French leader in developing, engineering, constructing, operating, maintaining and commissioning roof mounted solar power plants.
The Group, and particularly its in-house engineering office and its installers, has developed key competences and expertise, by building solar power plants on all types of roofs (flat and pitched roofs), using different procedures (building-integrated, simple frame systems and superimposition), for all types of buildings (public, industrial, commercial, logistics, tertiary, agricultural, winery, equestrian, etc.).
GÉNÉRALE DU SOLAIRE has the necessary human resources (including its French and International development team, its in-house engineering office, its financial department, its procurement and logistics service) to respond to tenders launched by the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) for rooftop photovoltaic power plant projects with the aim of securing a fixed indexed feed-in tariff, which is higher than the regulated tariff under the French power purchase obligation mechanism. Moreover, the Group has built strong and lasting commercial, industrial and financial partnerships, which means it can apply to CRE bids with very competitive projects, using highly qualitative and innovative equipment, which is in line with one of the main objectives of these bids.
GÉNÉRALE DU SOLAIRE has been rewarded on several occasions with more than 150 winning projects representing a cumulative capacity of 45 MWp. With a success rate of 96% in the last French call for tenders for rooftop plants, 29 projects submitted by Générale du Solaire have been selected in July 2016 for a total capacity of 6,34 MWp.
GÉNÉRALE DU SOLAIRE provides tailored turnkey solutions for any photovoltaic power plant project, regardless if it is a new construction project (parking shelters, warehouses, industrial sites, commercial sites, agricultural sheds or photovoltaic greenhouses, etc.) or a renovation project of dilapidated roofs (tiles, slates, steel panels, fibrocement, asbestos fibrocement, flat bitumen or PVC roofs).
